Poor little Cooramin Sandro Shimmer, our new filly by Sandro Hit out of Hunterview Florencia (by French Kiss) has had a rough start to life unfortunately. She has been in the vet hospital since the day she was born. On a number of occasions we have had to make the call whether to persevere with her when it looked like her chances were very grim. She is finally home now, after an 18 day hospitalisation, but is still a long way from a full recovery and is requiring ongoing nursing including bucket feeding, as she has suffered some brain damage which has affected her ability to drink well from her dam. The future remains uncertain, but we are doing all we can for her in hope that the damage is reversable or at least that she will adapt to her challenges sufficiently to life a life as a broodmare with us.

Should she survive to adulthood, we will keep her here, which necessitates selling her older full sister who we had secretly hoped to keep. In order to help with the astronomical vet bill, we have decided to offer the two yearling fillies for sale to the lucky buyer/s who make the highest offer.

The fillies are:

Cooramin Songbird – Sandro Hit x French Kiss – was $20,000, but now for unreserved sale

Cooramin Ladymeyer – Lord Sinclair x Weltmeyer – was $12,000, but now for unreserved sale
