For many years we have been trying unsuccessfully to breed a filly from one of our anglo mares related to Aloha Titan, Heather’s old FEI dressage horse. Today we finally got one!
Cooramin Bedazzled (by Aloha Bobby Dazzler) was the first (live) foal that we bred, back in the 90s. She was sold as a yearling and changed hands several times before coming back to us a few years ago….and today, in the middle of the day, she presented us with a filly by Royal Hit! To say we are delighted is an understatement.
It has been a project that we embarked upon in the late 90s with Bedazzled’s full sister, then with Aloha Crystal Bell and Bedazzled, with all three mares presenting us with nothing but colts and pregnancy losses. We even resorted to purchasing a daughter of Aloha Crystal Bell from the mare’s previous owner but lost her to colic before she even came home. This new filly has certainly been long awaited. Now to wrap her in cotton wool!!
Introducing Cooramin Ruby Hit, who is definitely not for sale!!
