Huge congratulations to Cheryl Hatswell from Ponderosa Stud in South Australia on the purchase of Cooramin Rialto Hit (Royal Hit x DP Debut) today.  Cheryl will take Robbie as a potential stallion prospect for Ponderosa, which is very exciting for us at Cooramin.  We really look forward to seeing him develop as a colt and hope that he will grow into a magnificent stallion in years to come.

We are also delighted to announce the purchase of PS Lah Dee Dah from Ponderosa Stud.  Lah Dee Dah (Lady) is a young mare by Lontano out of Heather’s sentimental favourite mare Aloha Crystal Bell (Tilly).  Despite a number of years of gallant efforts by us to breed a filly from Tilly, she has only produced one foal for Cooramin – a colt, now gelding, Cooramin Don Aloha.  She will turn 20yo this year, so we decided that to keep the line going we needed to seek out one of Tilly’s daughters from her life before she came to Cooramin.  Lah Dee Dah is a beautiful mare who won Supreme Champion led foal at the AWHA Gala Day and has since had many wins including under saddle.  She is currently in foal to Royal Hit (to be retained by Ponderosa) and will remain at Ponderosa until that foal is weaned.  We really look forward to bringing her to Cooramin early next year and including her in our breeding program.  A couple of pics below…
