Cooramin is excited to have purchased two service fees in the online service fee auction raising money for the horse-owning fire and flood victims. The first was for Hilken’s Nougat Cream, the imported buckskin German Riding Pony, which will be used with Byalee Mandolin, our little Medallion/Salute mare. This will be a first for Cooramin, breeding smaller dressage horses, but we feel that this will be an exceptional cross. The second service fee purchased was for the imported Premium Licensed stallion Riverside, standing at Revelwood. This service will probably be used with Brae Donleila, our Don Ramiro/Winterkoenig mare, in the 2010 season. Congratulations to the organisers of the auction and thanks to the stallion owners for donting services for such a worthy cause.
The rain falling in Wagga today is such a welcome sight, after such a long dry spell. The paddocks have been bare for months, so hopefully this rain will see some wonderful grass return to the paddocks. The horses would certainly be grateful.
