Christmas came early this morning! Since buying anglo Aloha Crystal Bell as an older mare in 2007, I have been trying to breed a filly from her with no luck. But today I finally got my wish!! Her filly by Furst Love was born at dawn this morning and I am absolutely over the moon!! Crystal Bell is a sister to my old FEI horse Aloha Titan, along with a number of other FEI dressage anglos, and this filly opens up the most wonderful opportunity for me to continue the lines. Now I just need to cross everything very tightly that the neonatal period is a smooth one and this hot weather doesn’t knock her around. Here she is – just born and a few hours old.
