Cooramin Don Aloha (Don Ramiro x Aloha Crystal Bell) ventured out to his first competition at Wagga Dressage Championships today and we were absolutely thrilled with him! He was perfectly behaved and seemed to say “I was made for this job”, placing 5th in his first ever test against much more seasoned horses. We’ve made the decision to keep him and I am so excited to be able to get back into competing once life settles down on the home front. In the meantime he is being ridden by veterinary science student Kellie Thomas, who is doing a fantastic job with this really fun little horse.

Not only was it Duggie’s first competition, but it was 3-month-old Christopher’s too! If Christopher decides that riding is his “thing”, Duggie may be a horse for his future and we will look back on these photos with delight!
